There are a number of resources you could turn to for simulation model development. I offer my skills and simulation modeling services in the simple (and less expensive) context of a freelance programmer / consultant.

I assume that your employees are the collective experts of your business and systems. It is my role to develop and deliver a custom learning tool, a hands-on "experimental laboratory", that captures your business complexities and allows your group to understand where the best opportunities exist for improvement. And your custom application can have no software licensing fees since the simulation package I utilize (ExtendSim v7) provides free model players.

If you are new to simulation, click here to read a quick summary of how simulation facilitates change in companies.

I also provide ExtendSim software support services through screen-sharing and
e-mail. You may also wish to consider my first model services if you are implementing ExtendSim software at your company.

My standard hourly rate for 2008 is $80 per hour plus all travel related expenses. I often work under a project-based "not-to exceed" purchase order billing actual hours as required.
